Our Client in Cleveland has an immediate need for a Thermal Operator 

  • Pay is $18.00 Hour Shift Differential Offered
  • This is a 2nd Shift Position, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Description:  Perform all Low-Pressure operations as needed in order to expedite the movement of quality product

Essential Functions:

  • Run all thermal equipment, according to procedure
  • Perform all Dip operations according to procedure, including testing of materials
  • Inspect kiln cars daily, and replace wear items as needed (plates, poles, rods and rod holders)
  • Change tunnel temperatures to run different materials, and bank tunnel according to procedures
  • Manage and organize setter blocks as needed
  • Make setter blocks on an as needed basis
  • Must follow and adhere to all safety policies and housekeeping

Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform in a self-directed environment with minimal supervision is essential
  • Ability to follow instructions, interpret procedures and problem solve
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to maintain documentation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Ability to function in a team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to work overtime
  • Willingness and ability to learn and perform previous tasks and new assignments
