Front Counter Sales 

Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Overtime: Optional Saturdays

About the Position

We're looking for a dependable, customer-focused Counter Sales that can help in the Warehouse to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, isn't afraid of physical work, and wants the opportunity to grow within a stable company. This is not a sit-behind-the-counter position. You'll spend your day assisting customers, processing orders, pulling materials, stocking inventory, and supporting warehouse operations while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in customers with purchases, product questions, and order pickups.
• Process customer sales orders accurately using the company computer system.
• Provide product information, pricing, availability, and recommend appropriate products.
• Learn company products and effectively communicate features and benefits.
• Verify customer orders and obtain signatures before releasing materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales counter and merchandise displays.
• Process customer returns and refunds according to company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock.
• Pull customer orders and assist with loading materials.
• Stock merchandise and support daily warehouse operations.
• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move materials (training available if qualified).
• Handle materials and demonstrate the safe use of hand tools when needed.
• Assist with incoming phone calls and support both inside and outside sales teams.
• Follow all company safety policies and complete required safety training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service, counter sales, or sales experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the day.
• Willingness to learn products and grow within the company.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift is a plus.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials throughout the day, products can be as heavy as 80lbs.
• Comfortable working in both a customer-facing sales environment and warehouse setting.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during the shift.
• Must pass a 5-panel drug screen.
• Background check required.
• Closed-toe shoes required; clean, professional work attire.
