Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Diesel Mechanic for a well-established company on the Iron Range. If you have strong mechanical and welding skills, enjoy troubleshooting equipment, and take pride in keeping vehicles operating safely and efficiently, this is an excellent long-term opportunity.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of trucks, trailers, and commercial equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Complete inspections and ensure equipment meets DOT and safety standards
• Weld and fabricate components as needed
• Maintain accurate repair records using a computer or laptop
• Monitor shop inventory and assist with parts organization
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safety-focused

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience repairing heavy trucks, trailers, or commercial equipment
• Welding experience required
• Ability to earn or possess DOT Inspector certification and a Class A CDL
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a fast-paced shop environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
