CDL-A Driver / Laborer

Location: Bend, Oregon
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable CDL-A Driver / Laborer to support domestic water well drilling and installation projects throughout the Bend, Oregon area. This position combines Class A commercial driving responsibilities with hands-on labor in the field. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, driving commercial vehicles, and assisting with physically demanding construction and drilling projects.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and transport drilling equipment, materials, and supplies using CDL-A vehicles and trailers
• Assist the drilling crew with daily well drilling and excavation operations
• Load, unload, secure, and transport equipment between job sites
• Dig, shovel, and move materials as needed
• Assist with well installation, maintenance, and support activities
• Operate hand tools and basic construction equipment safely and effectively
• Perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain DOT compliance
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more throughout the workday
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow supervisor instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Support all aspects of the drilling and well installation process

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and equipment
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance
• Willingness to perform strenuous physical labor daily
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable working in dirty, dusty, and physically demanding environments
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day
• Strong attention to safety and equipment care
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a crew
• Construction, excavation, drilling, heavy equipment, or general labor experience preferred, but not required
