Express Employment of West Seneca has partnered with a great company in the Orchard Park area to fill an immediate need for a full-time Electronic Assembly.

 

Position Summary

The Electronic Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electronic components and systems according to technical specifications, schematics, and work instructions. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and basic knowledge of electronics.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, circuit boards, and subassemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Perform soldering of components using hand tools and equipment
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and compliance with standards
• Test electronic units using multimeters and other diagnostic equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty components or assemblies
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
• Document production and test results accurately

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
• Basic understanding of electronics and circuitry
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
• Experience with soldering and hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification in electronics or a related field
• Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments
• Basic computer skills for documentation and testing software

Work Environment

• Manufacturing or production setting
• May require sitting or standing for extended periods
• Use of small tools and precision equipment
• Possible exposure to soldering fumes (with proper ventilation and PPE)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to handle small components
• Good vision (may require magnification tools)
• Ability to lift light to moderate materials (typically up to 25 lbs)
