Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a local client!

Are you detail-oriented and take pride in producing quality work? Our local client is looking for a Deburrer to join their team. This position plays a key role in ensuring parts meet quality standards by removing burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday - Friday

• Monday: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM

30-minute unpaid lunch for shifts over 4 hours. Employees are typically scheduled for 8.5 hours to account for the unpaid lunch.

Job Responsibilities

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from manufactured parts using:
  • X-Acto knives
  • Files
  • Sandpaper
  • Sanders
  • Other hand tools
• Inspect parts by touch and visually identify rough or sharp edges
• Move parts from incoming racks to designated work areas
• Follow quality standards and specifications to ensure finished parts meet requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Handle materials safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience using hand tools in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to sit for extended periods throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
