Shipping Clerk

Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a local manufacturing company in Temple, TX.

Are you an experienced Shipping Clerk who can hit the ground running? Our client is seeking a dependable shipping professional with proven experience in UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight shipping who can start contributing on Day 1 with minimal supervision.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes ownership of their work, is highly organized, and has a strong understanding of shipping processes and documentation.

Pay

• $17.00-$19.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Flexibility required to stay later when necessary to accommodate late UPS or LTL carrier pickups

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily pickups with UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers
• Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs) and all required shipping documentation
• Run and process UPS end-of-day shipping reports
• Prepare and maintain daily shipping spreadsheets
• Close completed orders in Mothernode
• Send updated shipping spreadsheets each evening
• Follow the production schedule and shipping priorities established by the Production Supervisor
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping area
• Ensure all orders are packaged accurately and shipped on time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous shipping experience is required
• UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight experience required
• Experience creating BOLs and shipping documentation
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Comfortable working with shipping software and spreadsheets
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work independently and require minimal supervision from Day 1
