Looking for a temporary opportunity with a Monday-Friday daytime schedule and competitive pay? This Customer Service & Delivery Driver position at Fort McCoy pays $18-$20 per hour and is available immediately through September 30. You'll combine customer service, order fulfillment, cashier, inventory, and delivery responsibilities in a busy, hands-on environment.

IMPORTANT: This position is located on Fort McCoy. Candidates must be able to successfully pass a required background check and MVR check to obtain access to the base and drive on base.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $18-$20 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Temporary position through September 30
  • Full-time temporary opportunity

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide friendly, professional customer service to in-store and phone customers
  • Process customer orders, answer questions, and provide product quotes
  • Operate a computerized cash register and accurately process credit card, voucher, and other authorized payments
  • Deliver products by truck to customers throughout Fort McCoy
  • Pick, pack, and prepare email, phone, and online orders for customer pickup or delivery
  • Complete shipping and receiving duties in a high-volume order environment
  • Stock merchandise, maintain displays, and update shelf pricing labels
  • Assist with inventory and general store organization
  • Use email, Microsoft Office, and computer systems to process orders and maintain accurate information
  • Research products and vendors online and provide detailed quotes when needed
  • Assist with general cleanup and other customer service, administrative, and operational duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Friendly, dependable, and professional approach to customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when entering orders and information
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with an ERP system is preferred
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and focused in a busy, high-volume customer environment
  • Valid driver’s license and excellent driving skills required
  • Must have a clean driving record/MVR to meet driving requirements
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check required for access to Fort McCoy
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required access to the Fort McCoy military base
  • Ability to frequently lift, move, and place products weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
  • Ability to frequently squat, stoop, bend, and lift
  • Experience in administrative or customer service work is a plus
