Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a manufacturing company in Temple, TX seeking an experienced Mechanic Supervisor to join their maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader looking for long-term stability, competitive pay, bonus opportunities, and a strong benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support up to two Maintenance Mechanics
• Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of up to 480V three-phase electrical systems
• Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Create work orders and manage spare parts inventory
• Repair and maintain lift trucks (LPG and diesel)
• Maintain PLC systems, motors, control circuits, and production equipment
• Ensure equipment reliability, workplace safety, and proper housekeeping practices

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of maintenance/electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
• PLC programming and troubleshooting experience required
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and ladder diagrams
• Experience with welding, gearboxes, three-phase motors, chillers, cooling towers, and pump skids
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
• High School Diploma/GED required; Technical, Electrical, or Diesel Mechanic certifications are a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work in an industrial environment
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
