Assembly Technician / Packet Clerk
Manufacturing – 1st Shift

Pay: $18.00/hour ($19.50/hour at conversion)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–3:30pm, with occasional overtime

Job Summary
Support manufacturing operations by keeping assembly lines properly supplied with labels and manuals while training into a primary assembly role. This position starts as a backfill in the label room — maintaining label stock, printing materials, and delivering packets to lines throughout the facility — before transitioning into full-time assembly work once trained. It's a great fit for someone who wants hands-on production experience with some variety built into the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain label stock for finished goods and print labels/manuals as needed
• Deliver packets of labels and manuals to assembly lines throughout the facility
• Investigate label, manual, or equipment issues and coordinate with the Operations Manager and/or Engineering team to resolve
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the work area
• Train into assembly line responsibilities once proficient in label room duties
• Other duties as assigned

Experience

• Minimum 6 months of assembly experience required; 1 year preferred
• Strong computer skills required
• Basic understanding of computer applications and MRP systems
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal communication skills

Education

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to bend and reach items at ground level and above the head
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout the facility for up to 10 hours per day
• Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, gloves, and face shields as needed
