Pay: $18.00/hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to join our team in Mentor, Ohio. This position is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including material handling, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and forklift operation. Previous forklift experience is required. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and product condition.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
• Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Use RF scanners or inventory systems to track materials (if applicable).
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with shipping and receiving.
• Inventory control or cycle counting experience.
• Familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
• Manufacturing or distribution warehouse experience.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend, reach, twist, and climb on and off forklifts throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Required: Candidates must have previous forklift experience and demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety. Forklift certification is a plus but is not required if sufficient operating experience can be demonstrated.
