Our Reading area client is seeking Maintenance Technician to join their team! Express is offering career opportunities for those qualified for and interested in this position!

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist both molding and maintenance personnel with the unpacking, installation, and commissioning of new molding machines and equipment.
• Unpacking of equipment, breaking down packaging
• Cleaning of equipment
• Assembling equipment
• Assist production as needed
• Ensures all safety procedures are followed
• Works to maintain a clean & organized working environment

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• 3-5 years of manufacturing/maintenance experience with an emphasis on mechanical amplitude.
• Use of hand, electric, and pneumatic tools
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to both well in bot a team atmosphere
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• General maintenance and tool knowledge required
• Must be able to work in the US
• Must be a solid communicator
• Use of pallet jack
• Use of hand, electric, and pneumatic tools
• HS Diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

• This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing; use of hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
• This position requires frequent communications with other employees. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
