Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Box Truck Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering products throughout the Metro Detroit area while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior box truck driving experience, be comfortable operating material handling equipment, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a box truck to deliver products throughout the Metro Detroit area
• Load, unload, and transport materials using a power jack, pallet jack, and hand truck
• Perform deliveries accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service
• Complete delivery paperwork with clear and legible handwriting
• Conduct vehicle inspections and follow all safety and traffic regulations
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members
• Maintain an organized delivery schedule and ensure timely deliveries
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Prior box truck driving experience required
• Must pass a company road test
• Experience operating a power jack, pallet jack, and hand truck
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Clear and legible handwriting
• Reliable, dependable, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery routes efficiently

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and material handling throughout the day
• Ability to travel throughout the Metro Detroit area for daily deliveries
