Building Maintenance Technician

Our client in Ypsilanti is looking for a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team.

What you’ll be doing as the Building Maintenance Technician

•  Executed day-to-day maintenance work orders across multiunit student housing, handling minor carpentry, drywall repair, basic electrical and plumbing, light appliance fixes, and boiler system upkeep.
•   Managed unit turnover preparations to ensure fast turnaround for new residents, along with conducting daily morning grounds cleanups and seasonal snow removal.
•  Participated in a 1-week-per-tech emergency on-call rotation to deliver 24/7 coverage for urgent property and facility issues.

What we look for in a Building Maintenance Technician

• 2+ years of experience in multi-unit property maintenance
• High School diploma or GED
