Apartment Maintenance Technician

Prime Apartments is seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with apartment maintenance, handyman, or general repair experience who enjoys solving problems and takes pride in keeping properties in excellent condition.

What You'll Do

• Complete routine maintenance requests in occupied apartments.
• Perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (make-ready units).
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, fixtures, doors, windows, and locks.
• Maintain the appearance of apartment buildings, common areas, and the property grounds.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with property upkeep.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures and provide excellent customer service to residents.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance, handyman, construction, or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Own basic tools are preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and reaching.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
