Job Title: Batching Operator

Pay: $17.00 

Shift: 6:00AM to 3:30PM | Monday to Friday (Saturdays as needed)

 

We are seeking a Batching Operator. This person will be responsible for accurately measuring, mixing, and preparing raw materials according to production formulas or recipes. This role ensures product consistency, quality, and compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Measure and weigh raw materials according to batch specifications

· Operate batching equipment such as mixers, scales, and control systems

· Follow production formulas, recipes, or mix designs precisely

· Monitor batching processes to ensure consistency and quality

· Record batch data, including quantities, times, and any deviations

· Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of batching area

· Follow all safety procedures and company policies

· Communicate with production and quality control teams regarding batch status

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)

· Experience in manufacturing, production, or batching processes (preferred)

· Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

· Ability to follow detailed instructions and formulas

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to operate machinery and computerized control systems

· Good communication and teamwork skills

 

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift heavy materials (often 25–50 lbs or more)

· Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods

· Ability to work in environments with dust, heat, or noise (depending on industry)

· Manufacturing plants, food processing facilities, or construction material plants (e.g., concrete or asphalt)

· Forklift certification

· Experience with automated batching systems or PLC controls

· Knowledge of safety and quality standards (e.g., OSHA, GMP, ISO)
