ATV Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and detail-oriented ATV Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of all-terrain vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and ready for customers every day. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced rental environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on ATVs, including oil changes, tune-ups, brake service, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, suspension, steering, and drivetrain issues.
• Inspect ATVs before and after rentals to identify maintenance or repair needs.
• Replace worn or damaged parts, including tires, batteries, belts, chains, bearings, and brakes.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records for each vehicle.
• Ensure all ATVs meet company safety standards before being rented.
• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Respond quickly to urgent repair needs to minimize fleet downtime.
• Work closely with the operations team to prioritize repairs and maximize vehicle availability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an ATV, motorcycle, powersports, or small engine mechanic preferred.
• Strong knowledge of gasoline engines, electrical systems, suspension, and drivetrain components.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Weekend and holiday availability is preferred.
• English and Spanish is required for the role
