Salary: $25.00-$30.00 DOE

Overview:  Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting a Temporary Carpenter to assist a custom home builder with a project in Port Orchard. This is a short-term opportunity for someone with residential construction experience who is comfortable working with framing, decking, railing and cabinetry installation.

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Assist with wood framing 
• Lay decking materials and railings
• Cabinet and door install and finish work
• Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Follow job site safety requirements and maintain a clean work area
• Work closely with the construction team to complete project goals on schedule

Requirements:

• Previous carpentry or residential construction experience required
• Experience with framing, decking, railing and cabinetry installation is required
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and make precise cuts
• Own tools required
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials as needed
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Hours/Shift:
Monday-Friday from 7:00am-4:30pm for 1-2 weeks

Pay:
$25-$30 / hour DOE
