Sub Arc Welder Needed!!!

One will perform submerged arc welding (SAW) on carbon steel and alloy materials according to engineering drawings, WPS requirements, and project specifications. Set up, adjust, and operate sub arc welding equipment, including wire feed systems, flux delivery, and power sources. Prepare materials for welding, including beveling, grinding, cleaning, and fit-up. Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards using visual inspection and measurement tools. Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings to ensure correct weld placement and sequence. Operate overhead cranes, rigging equipment, and material-handling tools safely. Maintain welding equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and report mechanical issues. Work collaboratively with fitters, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production timelines. Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage, hot-work procedures, and shop safety guidelines.

6am-4:30pm

Pays up to $28 based on experience
