General Labor Restoration Tech

Location: Benton Harbor, MI (travel throughout Southwest Michigan required)
Pay: $20.00+ (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM. This position frequently requires overtime, including some evenings and weekends.

Job Summary

We are hiring on behalf of a restoration company seeking a reliable General Labor Restoration Tech. This position helps fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintains the professional appearance of the company equipment as well as an assigned service vehicle.

Responsibilities

Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
Perform restoration processes as directed.
Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
Communicate with supervisor and other technicians to maintain efficient restoration processes.
Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.
Maintain an organized warehouse space. Clean and maintain the warehouse, office, and grounds, as assigned.
Develop restoration expertise in services, cleaning products, and equipment.
Other tasks/duties as required by employer.
Travel daily to job sites throughout Southwest Michigan

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required
Valid driver's license preferred
IICRC certification preferred
Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred
Ability to wear a respirator as needed
Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
Dependable with a strong work ethic
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
