Electrical Apprentice / Shop Hand

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice / Shop Hand to assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience as an apprentice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Pull wire, bend conduit, and assemble electrical components.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
• Perform troubleshooting and basic electrical repairs under supervision.
• Assist with various tasks around the shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Preferred Skills

• Two years of basic electrical experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical tools and materials.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Strong work ethic and dependability.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
