Caregiver / Home Health Aide (Part-Time)

Salary: $16.00 / hr

Do you have a heart for helping others? We're looking for a compassionate and dependable Caregiver / Home Health Aide to provide companionship and support to elderly clients in the Bloomington area. In this rewarding role, you'll help clients maintain their independence while making a meaningful difference in their daily lives.

Job Summary

• Provide companionship through conversation, activities, reading, and social engagement
• Encourage mental wellness by participating in games, hobbies, and other activities
• Accompany clients on walks and outings
• Assist with light housekeeping, including laundry, changing bed linens, and general cleaning
• Provide assistance with personal care as needed
• Run errands and obtain household supplies
• Transport clients to medical appointments and other community outings
• Remind clients to take medications as directed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment while following client care plans

Experience

• Previous caregiving, home health, companion care, or related experience is preferred but not required
• Experience working with seniors is a plus
• Applicants with customer service or other people-focused backgrounds are encouraged to apply

Pay: $16.00/hour

Position Type: Direct Hire

Schedule

Morning Shift

• Sunday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Evening Shift

• Sunday, Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Tuesday & Thursday: 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM
