Salary: $22.00 to $26.00

Our client, a respected non-profit organization, is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting/Administrative Clerk to join their team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a meaningful organization while utilizing your accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Process and maintain accurate invoicing records, ensuring timely billing and payment tracking
  • Support financial administration activities, including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and record maintenance
  • Manage inventory records, monitor stock levels, and assist with inventory control processes
  • Coordinate and respond to communications from local leagues, association members, and league presidents in a professional and timely manner
  • Provide exceptional member services by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and delivering ongoing administrative support
  • Maintain accurate financial, inventory, and membership databases to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency
  • Assist with general office administration and support organizational activities as required
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and effective communication
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence related to finance, inventory, and member services
  • Contribute to a positive member experience by providing responsive, courteous, and solution-oriented support

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist, administrative support, or office coordination role
  • Previous experience using QuickBooks Desktop is required
  • Strong computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a bilingual environment
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in both English and French is considered a significant asset

Monday to Friday – 3 days a week (with the potential for 4 days in the future) – 8:00am to 4:00pm

Wage: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour depending on experience
