Utility Worker

Location: Olivehurst, CA
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Utility Worker for the Olivehurst Public Utility District. This entry-level position will assist with the operation, maintenance, repair, and construction of District water and wastewater systems and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintaining domestic water systems, including pumps, motors, controls, pipelines, fire hydrants, meters, and related equipment
• Install new water services and water laterals
• Read water meters
• Assist with wastewater systems, lift stations, and sewer lines
• Perform basic plumbing, mechanical, and maintenance tasks
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely
• Assist with facility and grounds maintenance as needed
• Follow safety procedures and complete assigned tasks

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid California Driver’s License required
• Previous experience in utilities, construction, plumbing, maintenance, or related fields preferred
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Dependable and able to work well with a team
