Senior Accountant

Salary: $90,000 to $100,000/year

Specialized Recruiting Group, Irvine is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing consumer products company in the Irvine, CA area. This is a full-time, permanent, direct hire opportunity. Compensation starts at $90,000 to $100,000/year plus and is bonus eligible.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Maintain inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis
• Support financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams on accounting matters
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Assist with process improvements and ERP enhancements

 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting principles
• ERP experience required; manufacturing ERP preferred
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
