We are currently seeking a warehouse assistant for a client in Janesville.  This is a long term temp opportunity, with potential for hire at end of probationary period based on performanc and business need.

 

JOB STATEMENT

Fills orders for customers and prepares orders for delivery.

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Fill customer orders, which includes but is not limited to, pulling material out of inventory and measuring and cutting it to customer request;

· Prepare orders for delivery;

· Perform general warehouse tasks, which include but are not limited to, unloading trucks, operating forklifts, use of equipment to assist in counting of material, storing material, retrieving material, packing and unpacking material;

· Verification and record keeping of orders;

· Maintains a clean, orderly and safe work environment;

· Responds to all customer requests in a timely manner;

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

· High School diploma or G.E.D.

· Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment;

· Excellent math skills;

· Must be able to read basic measuring equipment i.e. tape measures, rulers, levels, etc.

 

Schedule: 7am - 3pm Mon  Fri

 

Pay: $18 - $20/hour depending on experience
