Forklift Operator

 

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Accurately transport materials to designated storage or production areas.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and shipping inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory and complete required documentation.
• Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Work closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Valid forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or pallet jack equipment.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners.
