Location: Waterloo, IA
Pay: $19.00–$22.00/hour
Schedule: 3rd Shift

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support daily warehouse operations through communication, record keeping, inventory tracking, and shipment coordination. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient material movement, accurate documentation, and smooth warehouse workflows. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate communication between warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments
• Schedule and track shipments and deliveries with suppliers, carriers, and vendors
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory control
• Process orders and prepare shipping documentation, packing lists, and labels
• Organize and maintain warehouse records and paperwork
• Identify and help resolve inventory discrepancies and shipment issues
• Assist in improving warehouse processes and productivity
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, and other material handling equipment as needed
• Assist with loading, unloading, storage, and movement of materials
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic proficiency with warehouse management software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Experience with material handling equipment preferred or willingness to learn
