Inside Sales Assistant

Launch your sales career with a growing local company! We're seeking an enthusiastic and organized Inside Sales Assistant to support a busy sales team in NE Portland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys talking with people, is motivated to learn, and wants to build a long-term career in sales.

Pay: $40,000–$55,000 annually, DOE

What You'll Do

• Conduct outbound cold calls to identify and qualify new business opportunities

• Schedule appointments and meetings for the Sales Manager

• Support lead generation and sales pipeline development

• Review sales reports to identify trends and high-performing products

• Follow up with customers and prospects while helping build lasting relationships

• Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and activities in CRM systems

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and order flow

What We're Looking For

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Attention to detail and the ability to interpret basic sales data

• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office experience required, CRM experience is a plus

• Previous sales, retail, or customer service experience preferred, but motivated entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
