Forklift Driver/Warehouse Support Job Summary:
A transportation company is looking for a skilled forklift driver and warehouse teammate who is willing to help the team in all areas of the operations. This company is looking for someone who is dependable, reliable, hard-working, and has a great attendance record. The work environment can have varying temperatures.
Forklift Driver/Warehouse Support Responsibilities:
- Operate a sit-down forklift
- Putting product away in proper locations
- Completing paperwork and scanning parts
- Prepares work for processing, load and unloads trucks into the warehouse
- This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage
- Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand, and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism
Schedule & Pay:
- 7:00am-3:30pm with overtime as required
- $19.00/HR
Forklift Driver/Warehouse Support Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience operating a sit-down forklift
- Previous warehouse experience
- Computer experience is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on an ongoing basis
- Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment.
- May be exposed to heat, noise, and humidity, etc.
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
