CDL Driver Class A

Salary: Starting at $23/hr - DOE

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a CDL Driver Class A position for a local Sulphur Springs, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Pull ordered materials from inventory and stage them for customer pickups and deliveries.
• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Estimate forklift load weights to ensure delivery vehicles are loaded safely and within legal weight limits.
• Maintain products in quality, organized, and marketable condition.
• Keep accurate inventory records and assist with inventory control.
• Inspect and sort materials, removing defective or damaged products.
• Assist with deliveries to customers and job sites as needed.
• Unload and stage materials at job sites safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company safety procedures while handling heavy and awkward loads.
• Perform other warehouse and delivery duties as assigned.

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Valid CDL Class A Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Previous warehouse and/or delivery experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Knowledge of building materials and related products is a plus.
• Ability to safely handle heavy and awkward materials.
• Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout an entire shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 250 lbs. with assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Dependable work ethic and excellent customer service skills.
