Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook to assist in a fast-paced kitchen for a 3 day event. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing cooking and serving menu items according to recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, works well with a small team, and is committed to delivering excellent food and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
• Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies.
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Monitor food inventory and report shortages to management.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Assist with set up, prep, serving, and cleaning up after event. 

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
• Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Non-slip, closed-toe shoes
• Hair must be restrained/Pulled back (Hair net preferred) 
• Clean and professional appearance (You will be assisting with serving please come equipped with a clean and presentable shirt. We understand you may get dirty while cooking.) 
• Nails must be cut and clean.
