Seamstress

Position Summary:  We are seeking an experienced and reliable seamstress for a local Dry Cleaning and Alteration Shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sews, repairs and adjusts clothing and other fabrics.
• Fix broken zippers, buttons, seams, and clothing pieces.
• May do custom sewing, fittings and tailoring at customer request

Qualifications:

• 1 or more years of sewing and/or clothing alteration experience (preferably in professional Dry Cleaning or Clothing Alteration Shop).
• Basic knowledge of math to accurately measure during fittings for clothing alterations or tailoring.
