Part-Time Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate

Schedule: Thursday – Saturday (Part-Time)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Part-Time Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our furniture retail team. This position is responsible for safely delivering furniture to customers while providing excellent customer service. When not making deliveries, the associate will assist with warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, staging, and preparing merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Duties

• Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture to customers' homes and businesses.
• Ensure furniture is delivered in excellent condition.
• Assist with carrying, placing, and setting up furniture as needed.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
• Inspect delivery vehicle before and after each shift and report any maintenance concerns.

Warehouse Duties

• Receive, unload, and organize incoming merchandise.
• Load furniture for scheduled deliveries.
• Assist with inventory organization and stock replenishment.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Assemble furniture as needed.
• Assist with general warehouse and store operations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle.
• Ability to lift and move furniture weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous furniture delivery, moving, warehouse, or logistics experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull heavy furniture.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
• Work in varying weather conditions during deliveries.
