Quality Inspector Summary:

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Utilize a range of testing equipment and techniques to ensure product quality and performance.
• Perform regular audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Work closely with production and management teams to address and rectify any quality-related issues.
• Identify and document any product defects or non-conformities, accurately recording findings and providing timely reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of quality inspection results, testing procedures, and other relevant data.
• Ensure that all quality-related documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance production processes and product quality.
• Assist in the implementation of best practices to achieve continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other relevant quality and safety regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality consciousness among all employees.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and testing procedures.
