An industry leader is adding a VP/Controller to their team! This is an onsite role based in the beautiful Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon.

What You Get to Do! 
The VP Controller is responsible for leading the company’s global accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, internal controls, banking compliance, and financial planning functions. This role provides executive-level financial insight to support strategic decision-making, operational performance, and long-term business growth.
International Consolidation: Oversee financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance for our 10 international subsidiaries.
Foreign Exchange & Intercompany: Manage complex intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and foreign currency translations/revaluations.
Consolidation: Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to deliver timely, accurate consolidated financial statements.
ERP Implementation: Lead financial elements of the company’s ongoing enterprise-wide implementation of NetSuite. Compliance, Debt & Financial Reporting: Own the preparation and delivery of quarterly financial reporting required by our lenders, ensuring compliance with debt covenants.
Annual Reviews: Coordinate and lead the annual financial review process with our external CPA firm. Lighthouse is not currently audited but may transition to audits in the future.
Tax Compliance: Partner with external tax advisors to ensure global compliance across various jurisdictions, including VAT/GST and local corporate taxes.
Strategic Leadership:
•    Team Development: Mentor, manage, and scale a capable accounting staff of 10, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accuracy, and professional growth.
•    Collaboration: Act as a trusted partner to the CFO and President, translating complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.
•    Foster a high-performance culture.
•    Ensure alignment of operations with financial and business objectives.
•    Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and external partnerships.
Business Development:
•    Develop and implement business strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
•    Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures.
Executive Collaboration:  Actively participate as a member of the Executive Team, providing leadership, insight, and strategy input. Collaborate closely with functional leaders across Operations, Engineering, Sales, and HR.

What You Will Bring…
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. MBA is preferred.
•    10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Corporate Controller role.
•    Global Expertise: Proven experience managing multi-entity international consolidations.
•    Experience in manufacturing, inventory management and cost accounting is highly preferred.
•    Mid-Market Agility: Experience working in a mid-market revenue environment and closely held businesses is highly preferred.
•    Systems Leadership: Direct experience with NetSuite or leading a major ERP system implementation is a significant plus.
•    CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA designation is highly preferred

•    Excellent executive presence and influence skills.
•    Deep understanding of US GAAP (and familiarity with IFRS/local statutory requirements is a plus).
•    Advanced proficiency in global ERP systems and consolidation software.
• Strong communication skills—the ability to speak "accounting" to your team, “operations” to the manufacturing and service teams and "strategy" to the business owners.
•    Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures and best practices in comparable industries.
•    Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, managers, and personnel from various departments within the organization.
•    Excellent attention to details and accuracy.
