PAY: $20.00 an hour
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Cashier / Receptionist for a busy facility in Salem. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions, answering phones, and assisting with daily office operations. 

Job Duties

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Complete customer cash and payment transactions
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate department
• Process customer and vehicle paperwork accurately
• Maintain confidentiality regarding customer information and company operations
• Communicate paperwork issues to supervisors
• Provide excellent customer service while assisting visitors and customers
• Support daily front office operations as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic Microsoft Office and Outlook skills
• Strong communication and phone etiquette
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain professionalism
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand and walk throughout the day
• Occasionally sit while completing office tasks
• Lift up to 20 pounds as needed
• Perform frequent keyboarding and computer work
• Work in an environment with occasional outdoor exposure, moving equipment, and moderate industrial noise
