Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Medical Biller to join a dynamic healthcare team in the Tempe area. In this role, you will be responsible for processing patient claims, managing billing inquiries, and ensuring accurate reimbursement cycles. Key Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and submit medical claims to insurance companies and payers accurately and timely.

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments.

• Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims and resolve billing discrepancies.

• Process patient payments, post receipts, and handle billing-related customer service inquiries.

• Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management.

• Strong working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT codes, and medical terminology.

• Familiarity with various insurance payers (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, etc.).

• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) and billing software.

• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
