Job Summary
Express is hiring MIG Welders for a company in the Kalamazoo/Portage area.

Duties

• Perform MIG welding on cold rolled steel parts.
• Create quality welds according to blueprints
• Inspect welds for accuracy
• Prepare product to be welded by grinding steel parts
• Change wire, welding as needed
• Operate forklifts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Shift Time

• 1st Shift: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm; M-Th, 4 x 10s.
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 pm - 2:00 am; M-Th, 4 x 10s.

Pay: $21-$22/hr

Requirements

• Proven experience in MIG welding..
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Must be able to acquire AWS and CWB Certifications
• Bending, lifting and pushing up to 70 pounds is required
• Ability to work effectively with hand tools and power tools while maintaining attention to detail.
