Plating Machine Operator

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 DOE

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Plating Machine Operator! The Plating Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining plating processes and machinery within manufacturing company.  This role involves preparing materials, monitoring chemical processes, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process parts through various chemical baths.
• Operate and monitor machinery, ensuring proper chemical alignments per run sheets.
• Transfer of chemicals to and from electroforming areas
• Inspect plated parts during processing
• Adjust process parameters to achieve required final product specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of process settings, chemical usage, and production output.
• Handle, store, and dispose of hazardous materials safely in compliance with regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and assist in troubleshooting issues.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, including wearing required PPE..

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).
• Experience in chemical processing, or a related manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Understanding of chemical handling and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working with chemicals while wearing appropriate PPE.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
