Auto Shop Helper

Located in Fitchburg, WI

Salary: $20 - $22/hr

Express is hiring for a dependable, motivated Shop Helper who enjoys working around vintage automobiles and wants to be part of a skilled, passionate team. Join a well-established classic car restoration shop with over 20 years of experience specializing in the restoration of vehicles from 1979 and older.

 

This is a great opportunity for someone with basic automotive or mechanical experience who is eager to learn more about classic car restoration. There is room for growth for the right person.

 

Responsibilities

• Run errands and pick up automotive parts and supplies
• Transport parts and materials as needed
• Keep shop bays and workstations clean, organized, and stocked
• Organize and maintain shop tools and equipment
• Assist technicians with general shop tasks
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
• Perform other shop support duties as needed

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Previous automotive or mechanical experience preferred
• General interest in classic cars and vintage vehicle restoration
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as with a team

Pay: $20–$22 per hour, based on experience

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (part or full time opportunity)
