Location: Taylorville, IL or Mt. Auburn, IL

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM | Overtime Available

Responsibilities

• Open and close truck and railcar doors for grain loading and unloading
• Monitor incoming and outgoing grain, corn, and soybean shipments
• Cover grain piles with tarps to protect stored product
• Dump grain as directed during receiving and shipping operations
• Shovel grain and sweep work areas to maintain a clean, safe facility
• Perform general facility cleanup and housekeeping
• Work from elevated platforms while using required fall protection and safety harnesses
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable working at heights while wearing a safety harness
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Previous grain handling, agriculture, warehouse, or general labor experience is helpful but not required
