About the Role

We are seeking a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and experienced in tax preparation, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit support. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of clients while contributing to a collaborative and professional environment.

Please note: Overtime is required during tax season to meet client deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, business, and corporate tax returns.

• Prepare financial statements and ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Support audit engagements by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Reconcile accounts and prepare adjusting journal entries.

• Research accounting and tax issues and recommend practical solutions.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive, professional service.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred).

• 3+ years of public accounting experience preferred.

• Experience with financial reporting, tax preparation, budgeting, and audit support.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and current tax regulations.

• Proficiency with accounting and tax software.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
