CNC Mill Set-Up/Operator

We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Set-Up/Operator to join a manufacturing team on first shift. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machining equipment, maintaining quality standards, and producing components according to specifications and customer requirements.

Job Duties

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers, mills, and lathes
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production instructions
• Enter machine instructions and reference points as required
• Monitor material availability and verify job requirements prior to production
• Measure and inspect parts throughout the manufacturing process using precision measuring tools
• Verify product quality and ensure compliance with specifications
• Identify and correct operational issues when necessary
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
• Assist with other machining and production tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Three to five years of machining, metal fabrication, or CNC machine operation experience preferred
• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required
• Frequent use of hands for machine operation, setup, and inspections
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment

Schedule

• Full-time position
• First Shift
• Monday through Friday
• Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
