Farm Equipment Operator / Mechanic

Location: Waterman, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Seasonal Position) Aug- Oct, may change 
Pay: $15.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Farm Equipment Operator / Mechanic to join our team for the season. The ideal candidate will have a strong farming background, be comfortable operating large agricultural equipment, and be willing to help with a variety of daily farm tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor pulling a grain cart (grain wagon) during harvest.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and basic mechanical repairs.
• Perform general farm work and other duties as needed.
• Safely operate farm machinery and equipment.
• Help keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Previous farm experience is required.
• Experience operating a tractor with a grain cart is strongly preferred.
• Experience driving a semi-truck is a plus and will be considered.
• Mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair farm equipment are preferred.
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
• Ability to perform physical work and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
