Assembler Technician

We are seeking an Assembler Technician for an excellent temp-to-hire career opportunity with a leading manufacturer of healthcare technology solutions. General Responsibilities of an Assembler Technician:

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools.
• Build and assemble medical cabinet components and sub-assemblies.
• Perform basic electrical wiring, testing, and installation tasks.
• Follow assembly instructions, schematics, and quality standards.
• Ensure completed products meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving assembly-related issues.
• Participate in occasional on-site installations at healthcare facilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Ideal Background for an Assembler Technician:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Ability to learn new processes and work independently once trained.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Soldering experience.
• Experience using micrometers or precision measuring tools.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or Epicor.

Additional Information:

• Travel required: approximately 10-20%, generally day trips within the Midwest for customer installations.
