Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Accounting/HR Manager to join a local company in Bryan, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!

Responsibilities

• Manage all Human Resources functions, including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance

• Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Oversee accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general ledger support

• Manage banking transactions, reconciliations, and insurance administration

• Prepare and maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

• Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and audits

• Maintain employee records and ensure HR policy compliance

• Collaborate with leadership on hiring, performance management, and employee development

• Prepare reports using Microsoft Office Suite, accounting software, and HR systems

• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration required

• 6–8 years of accounting experience preferred

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience required

• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Experience with banking, insurance administration, payroll, and Human Resources functions

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Strong communication and leadership abilities

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
