Day Shift Opportunity | Special Waste & Recycling Technician | $14/Hour

We're hiring a Special Waste & Recycling Technician for a day shift position in the Cookeville area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workplace, and wants to be part of a team that supports safety and environmental responsibility.

What you'll do:

• Collect recyclable materials and special waste from designated areas
• Sort and separate materials according to established procedures
• Label waste containers accurately and maintain proper documentation
• Transport materials to designated storage, disposal, or recycling areas
• Keep waste collection and storage areas clean and organized
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE while performing duties

What you need:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear PPE
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay: $14.00 per hour
• Days/hours: Day Shift, Full-Time
