Golf Car / Small Engine Repair Technician

Description:

Candidates must obtain the following skills –

· Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.

· Diagnose and complete repairs on mechanical and/or electrical issues on small gasoline engine and electric golf cars. (Knowledge of lithium-ion batteries is a plus.)

· Perform routine maintenance on customer and fleet cars – oil and tire change skills, battery changing / charging, replacing parts that routinely need to be replaced.

· Keep a clean, organized and safe work space at all times.

· Excellent attention to detail and time management.

· Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

· Keep up with parts and ensure that no inventory is wasted.

· Posses the ability to work in a team setting and as an individual, be accountable and maintain a good attitude.

· Flexibility to perform other job tasks outside of normal duties (driving / transporting golf cars to customers or beach location, cleaning yard and shop areas, ect.)

Requirements:

· Possess a valid Texas driver’s license (CDL not required, but is a bonus)

· Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions

· Be available from 7:30 am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday with the possibility of working some weekends at our Crystal Beach location.

· High school diploma or GED; technical certification or trade school training is a bonus.

· 2+ years of experience in small engine / battery operated vehicle maintenance and repair.

· TWIC card not required, but preferred
