Service Technician

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $31.50–$50.00/hour

An Edmonton client is seeking a Service Technician to join their team.

Service Technician Highlights:

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and test industrial powertrain and drivetrain components.
• Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild transmissions, axles, and related mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures, including worn bearings, damaged gears, clutch systems, and other drivetrain components.
• Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and OEM specifications.
• Test rebuilt components using specialized testing equipment and document results.
• Prepare completed units for shipment and maintain quality standards.
• Provide occasional local field service and technical support at customer sites.
• Participate in daily toolbox meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work on equipment used in marine, construction, industrial, and heavy equipment applications.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing industrial, heavy-duty, or off-road equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Basic hydraulic and electrical knowledge (training provided).
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours & Wage:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Minimal overtime
• $31.50–$50.00/hour, depending on experience
